You know you’re bored when you actually Google the word Boredom and start to nod off while reading the Wikipedia definition of the word.

Boredom is an emotional state experienced when an individual is left without anything in particular to do, and not interested in their surroundings. The first recorded use of the word boredom is in the novel Bleak House by Charles Dickens, written in 1852,[1] in which it appears six times, although the expression to be a bore had been used in the sense of “to be tiresome or dull” since 1768.[2] The French term for boredom, ennui, is sometimes used in English as well.  -from Wikipedia

It’s never a good thing to be bored at work.  Workplace boredom leads to all manner of innapropriate Googling, texting and gossip about and among your co-workers.  Not to mention the browsing of cat memes, such as these:

Gangnam Style – Because you know you haven’t seen it enough 🙂

Okay, Back to the cat memes…

This sounds a lot like something my ex-husband used to say whenever we’d discuss having babies.  “Well, Mr. Smith (name changed to protect ME), the good news is you have a bouncing baby boy, the bad new is, your wife’s pussy is totaled.”

Haha – I just played Gangnam Style so I could put the link in this post… my student worker has informed me that she hates me with the passion of 1000 fiery suns.  I can’t beat that!
